  2. A booking is only confirmed/reserved once a completed Booking Form has been returned and a £200.00 or 20% (whichever is the greater) deposit has been paid and cleared. Until that point dates cannot be guaranteed and any deposit received for a date which is no longer available will be returned in full with no further liability on either party.

We shall be the sole professional Videographer at the venue specified (unless otherwise agreed). Whilst we acknowledge assocaites, family or friends filming at the event, we claim positional priority and reserve the right to ask individuals to cease and desist to ensure nothing hinders us in our work.

Please note travel expenses are calculated on the basis used by AA/RAC. In some circumstances we will need accommodation expenses too. This is to be agreed in advance. You are requested to ensure there is parking available for the crew vehicle to ensure we can film all shots at all venues and not miss anything. Any parking charges, will be passed on to you the Client.

3. Learning Curve Media CIC retains copyright over all footage, edited or otherwise which is used in the final production.

  4. Any further copyright licences required for live music at Reception or Church choir/music must be obtained by yourselves see www.iov.com/mcps.

All supplied music/sound recordings should be clearly labelled with your name & date of event and each track labelled.

If credits are to be added to your event DVD they should be provided in advance in electronic form on disk or by email: if there are subsequent spelling mistakes a small charge we be levied to correct them: all change requests must be submitted in writing within 48 hrs of receiving the DVD.

  5. It is your responsibility to obtain any or all permissions and licences that may be necessary for any location or venue to be used.

  6. As most weddings/events require an attendance of 9 hours or more, it is asked that suitable refreshments are provided. When food is not provided, there will be an additional cover charge of £15 per-head added for purchase of suitable refreshments. In the event that our crew have to leave the venue to obtain a meal any filming or events missed will not our responsibility in any way.

  7. The final fee covers all shooting time until end time stipulated on your Confirmation Order which you will be sent upon receipt of the deposit - which is informed (but not compelled) by the The Booking Form & Written Quote. Any hours exceeding this time will be charged @ £100.00 per hour.

  8. We strongly recommend that you take out Wedding/Event Insurance to protect yourselves as some events need to be cancelled and our cancellation charges are as follows:

Within 3 calendar months prior to the date: deposit only

  Within 1 calendar months prior to date: 50% total fee plus deposit (e.g. fee of !,500 = 200 + 750 = £950 payable)

  9. Your finished DVD (and any duplicates ordered) should be ready within 28 days after the event. Delivery or postage is NOT included in the cost and in some cases there will be extra or added costs for this depending on the requirements.

  10. Unless otherwise agreed the Deposit must be paid along with a completed Booking Form (please get confirmation) at least 6 weeks prior to date and 50% of full and final costs must be paid prior to event filming. In cases where filming is the only service we are supplying (i.e. no editing etc.) then we may require up to 100% payment prior to event filming commencement. No filming will begin until this payment has been made (in cases where this is not in the form of cash - funds have been electronically cleared).
